The King of Kings Adventure is an interactive, faith-based Christmas program for primary-aged children. It brings the Nativity story to life through storytelling, teamwork, creative play, and guided reflection.
Students do not simply hear the Christmas story; they experience it. Through drama, music, and hands-on challenges, children explore the true meaning of Christmas while developing empathy, collaboration, and faith in an age-appropriate and engaging way.
Ideal for:
- Christian primary schools
- Sunday School and church programs
- Advent and Christmas celebrations
How the Program Works
Students go through six themed stations, each highlighting a key moment from the Nativity story. At each station, children complete a short interactive or reflective activity. Groups collect puzzle pieces representing their learning. The program concludes with a whole-group assembly, where all pieces are combined to reveal the big puzzle at the end of the adventure.
This final moment reinforces unity, belonging, and shared faith.
Program Stations
- The Wise Men’s Gifts: Explore the meaning of gold, frankincense, and myrrh and what they reveal about Jesus’ identity and mission.
- The Treasure Box: Team-based problem-solving activity where students decode messages about Jesus.
- The Manger: Interactive storytelling and tactile activity reflecting on humility and God’s greatest gift.
- The Angel’s Visit: Scripture, storytelling, and song focusing on hope, obedience, and Mary’s faithful response.
- Memory Verse Challenge: Collaborative activity to build and reflect on a key Christmas Bible verse.
- Grand Assembly: Completing the Puzzle: All groups come together to complete a large Nativity puzzle, symbolising unity and how each child contributes to the bigger picture.
